Agriteq Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition was organized in Doha

0 kapakAgriteq Qatar International Agricultural Exhibition was organized in Doha, the capital of Qatar, between 22 and 25 March 2017 at Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Deputy Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Mr Mehmet Daniş, Deputy Undersecretary Mr Mehmet Hadi Tunç and the Minister of Municipality and Environment of Qatar Mr Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Metab Al-Rumaihi and FAO representative Mr Jose Graziano Da Silva participated in the official opening ceremony of the exhibition.

The Agricultural Credit Cooperatives of Turkey and the Ministery of Food, Agriculture and Livestock represented Turkey at the Turkish pavilion which covered an area of 150 m². Visitors were informed about the agricultural policies, activities, products and investment opportunities in Turkey. Gübretaş, Tareks, İmece Plastic and Tarkim, subsidiaries of the ACC operating in the fields of fertilizer, seed, plastic and agrochemicals, were present at the exhibition to increase the volume of trade with Qatar. Offering the opportunity to network with sector leaders, industry professionals, policymakers and investors from Qatar and the Gulf region,  Agriteq was a fruitful event and a first for the ACC and its subsidiaries in terms of a joint participation to an exhibition abroad.   

The Minister of Municipality and Environment of Qatar Mr Al-Rumaihi visited the Turkish pavilion and expressed their willingness to import Turkish products. In his speech, the Minister stressed the Turkish-Qatari cooperation and signaled the possibility of state support for Turkish investors. The Deputy Minister Mr Daniş gave an interview to the prominent Qatari newspaper Cedidetul Vatan which also gave coverage to the ACC and its subsidiaries.
